The original location of the Minyard grocery store chain, the 16,000 square foot building was built in the 1960’s. Agent Architecture has redesigned this building to serve as a model facility for 3 and 4 year olds. Inside, it features 10 classrooms, each with abundant natural light, and common learning, reading, and activity spaces. The site, which is currently a surface parking lot, is being converted to a large outdoor play and learning environment. Agent collaborated with Landscape Architect Delineator Design, who created the design of this dynamic outdoor space.
Located in the center of a historic East Dallas neighborhood, this new facility is set to bring new life and activity and become a community asset.
