A building currently used for parking is reimagined as communal outdoor space. An entire new edge of the existing historic creative office building is activated via the interface with the new courtyard. The bones of the courtyard building are left intact, while light and air and vegetation are brought to the forefront.  Selective demolition preserves the essence of the historic structures while enlivening them, creating a timeless and authentic environment to serve as a compliment to the traditional interior workspaces found in the adjacent building.
